Box Score ATLANTA, Ga.- Savannah State jumped out to a 6-2 lead but could not hold on as Georgia State rallied back with five runs in the seventh inning in a 12-6 win over the Tigers. The non-conference game was played at the GSU Baseball Complex. 
The Panthers had 16 hits and made three errors while SSU produced 13 hits but left 10 men on base. 
SSU had three hits in the first inning and scored three times as Charles Sikes doubled home 
Todd Hagen, who opened the contest with a walk. 
Parker Nix followed with a single and Sikes and Nix scored as 
Aaron Hoffer reached base on a fielding error for a 3-0 lead. 
Canden Bailey hit a two-run double for GSU in the second inning to cut the Tigers leads to 3-2. 
Sikes led off the third with a solo home run for SSU and the Tigers added two more runs in the inning as 
Lee Moore and Hoffer scored runs for a 6-2 cushion. 
The Panthers answered with 10 unanswered runs to close out the game. 
Matt Rose hit a solo home run for Georgia State in the bottom of the third to cut the Panthers deficit to 6-3. 
GSU scored twice in the fifth, once in the sixth and five times in the seventh for a 11-6 lead. The Panthers added another run in the eighth as Rose singled home a run. 
Sikes had three hits, scored twice and drove in two runs for the Tigers (15-26). 
Zachary Brigham also added three hits while Hoffer, Nix and Mike McHugh had two hits apiece. 
Brandon Wallace took the loss for Savannah State. Wallace pitched 2.2 innings in relief and surrendered seven hits and six runs while striking out three. 
Rose had three hits, three RBIs and scored twice for GSU (19-23). Andrew Fessler, one of five Panther pitchers, was awarded the win on the mound. Fessler pitched two innings and gave up two hits and no runs.
