The Savannah State Tigers will take on the North Floirida Ospreys in its second of back-to-back mid-week games today at 5 p.m. at Tiger Field. This will be the second meeting between the teams this season. In the first meeting, the Ospreys defeated the Tigers 7-8.

SSU, who has dropped its last 5 of 6 games, is looking break a three-game loosing streak with a win today. The Tigers will look to newcomer Charles "Tre" Sike to provide power hitting. Sikes has a .352 batting average with 31 hits, 6 doubles, 15 RBI and 2 homeruns.

North Florida comes to Savannah looking to improve on their 13-11 overall record. The Ospreys have won their last four of five games including, most recently, a 8-7 win over Georgia Southern University.
