Tigers Lose To GSU On the Road

Box Score ATLANTA, Ga.- Nic Wilson drove in four runs to lead Georgia State to a 11-2 win over Savannah State at the GSU Baseball Complex.

The Panthers, who had 14 hits, scored three times in the first inning and sent six runners across home plate in the fifth for a 9-0 lead.

Leading 10-0 after seven innings of play, SSU (24-18) prevented a shutout in the top of the eighth when Chris Arnold hit a two-run double that scored Gian Mirabel and Antonio Scott.

The Panthers added another run in the bottom of the inning.

Savannah State stranded 10 base runners while GSU left 11 on base.

Parker Nix had a pair of singles for the Tigers. Ethan Glass took the loss. Glass pitched four innings and gave up eight hits and three runs.

Wilson had a two-run home run and a two-run double for Georgia State (27-16). Nick Squeglia struck out six in six innings to earn the win.
