SAVANNAH, Ga. – The Savannah State Athletic Department announced today that season tickets for the upcoming men's and women's basketball season are now being sold.

Individual tickets for home games can be purchased on the athletic department's website, by clicking here. However, season tickets can only be purchased over the phone by contacting Selena Warner at 912-358-3439, or in-person by visiting the SSU ticket office in Tiger Arena.

The 2013-14 basketball season ticket packages are as follows: for reserved seats (assigned), the rate for faculty/staff/senior is $75, general public is $95, and floor seats are $125. All home Savannah State men's and women's basketball games are included in this package.

For general admission season tickets the rates are as follows: faculty/staff/senior is $50, general public $70, and youth (ages 7-17) is $40.  All home Savannah State men's and women's basketball games are included in this package.

Regular game day ticket prices are as follows: for individual games (walk-ups), reserve seats are $15, general admission is $8, faculty/staff/senior is $6, youth (ages 7-17) is $5, and floor seats are $20 apiece.

For doubleheaders, the rates are adjusted to the following: reserve seats are $20, general admission is $15, faculty/staff/senior is $8, youth (ages 7-17) is $5, and floor seats are $25. For Winter Homecoming (February 15, 2014) reserve seats are $25 and general admission is $20.

SSU men's and women's basketball season kicks off with the annual home exhibition doubleheader with Armstrong Atlantic State on October 31 in Tiger Arena. In last year's "Battle By The Marsh", the Armstrong women's team took home the trophy with a thrilling overtime victory. The SSU men's team kept the Marsh trophy in Tiger Arena with a 74-57 win.

Men's basketball will play 13 home games this season, including a bout with ACC power the University of Miami on December 19. Women's basketball is scheduled to host 13 home games this season, including a nonconference game against Troy on December 29.
