SAVANNAH, Ga. – Former Savannah State University men's basketball player, Andrew Anderson, died on Friday, August 10, 2012.
 
The Buford, Ga. native played for SSU during the 2009-10 season before transferring to Lawson State. He was an integral member of the 2009-10 team that finished with an 11-15 overall record including wins over Division I opponents Central Connecticut, Western Illinois and Stetson University.
 
A business management major at SSU, he wore #5 and came to SSU from Collins Hill High School.
