SAVANNAH, Ga. – The Savannah State University Tennis team will host three Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference games this coming weekend at the new Tiger Tennis Courts.
The Lady Tigers kick things off with a 10 a.m. match against Bethune-Cookman Saturday, March 3
rd. The Lady Wildcats are 5-2 overall in the 2012 season, and will face off with Savannah State in their first MEAC game of the year.
At 3 p.m. on Saturday, Savannah State will play North Carolina Central. The Lady Eagles are 3-3 overall. The Lady Tigers are 0-4 overall, and 0-2 in MEAC play. They faced-off with the number one ranked South Carolina State in their last outing, falling just short in the number one spot as Sandra Dis Kristjansdottir fell to Suhaila Jad in singles play, 6-3, and 6-2.
Savannah State finishes out the weekend with a 1 p.m. match against Florida A&M on Sunday, March 4
th. The Lady Rattlers are 0-4 overall and will play their first MEAC game against the Lady Tigers.
