Jovonni Shuler had a game-high 27 points and seven assists as Savannah State improved to 7-17 with a 102-47 victory over Morris in Tiger Arena, before a crowd of 1,211.
The Tigers won their 5th straight game, the first time a SSU team has won five consecutive games in a single season since 1995-96 under Jimmy Westley.
SSU shot 63.2 percenmt from the field and won the rebounding battle 46 to 22.
Savannah State jumped out to a 32-10 lead and were never threatened.
Morris pulled within 34-16 with 5:38 on the clock but SSU finished the period with a 18-6 spurt and took a 52-22 lead into the half.
A free throw by Shuler gave SSU a 40-point lead with 12:23 left and a layup by
Angelo Davis put the Tigers up by 51 with 5:56 on the clock.
Leading 98-47 with 1:31 remaining,
Stephen Wilson hit two free throws to give Savannah State 100 points and a dunk by Chris Spears with 33 seconds left put the Tigers over the century mark.
Joshua Montgomery added 16 points and 8 rebounds for SSU. Wilson came off the bench to score 13 points and get 4 steals while Cedris Smith had 10 points and
Jyles Smith had 12 rebounds, 9 points and 6 blocks.
Every Tiger player who dressed out scored at least two points and at least one rebound.
Morris (2-13) was led by Jonathan Parham who came off the bench to score 11 points.
