Savannah, Ga.—Savannah State University Lady Tigers volleyball team fell 0-3) to the Lady Bulldogs of South Carolina State on November 6 in Willcox Wiley Gymnasium.
SSU put up a tough fight but fell 19-25, 14-25, 21-25 in front of 75 fans. Collectively SSU recorded 23 kills, 17 assists and five team blocks over SCSU.
Veteran player
Jennifer Lowe led the game in service aces (4) and
Bianca Helton had a team high of seven kills. Aisha Williams recorded eight assists and
Bridgette Stephens had 11 digs for SSU.
SCSU offensively dominated the game earning a total of 40 kills and 37 assists.
Lady Bulldog Desiree Waller led the game in kills (17) and Bria Brimmer recorded 32 assists.
SSU will play its next game on the road at Mercer University in Macon, Georgia on November 9.
