Savannah, Ga.—Savannah State University Lady Tigers volleyball team fell 3-1 to North Carolina A&T on Friday, November 11, 2011 in Willcox Wiley Gym.

SSU fell 23-25 in set one, but bounced back in set two to defeat NCAT 25-20. Set three and four went to North Carolina A&T 25-23 and 25-22.  

Collectively, SSU recorded a total of 43 kills, and seven team blocks. Veteran Player, Chikia Jones led SSU offensively with 17 kills and Bryana Gadis earned the game high of five service aces.

Senior, Jennifer Lowe and newcomer, Bridgette Stephens had a game high of 13 digs each for SSU.

Vying point for point, North Carolina A&T finished with a total of 47 kills and nine team blocks. Lady Aggie, Jenea Daniels recorded the game high of 22 kills.
