Savannah, Ga. -- Savannah State University men's and women's basketball teams will host a doubleheader against Allen University and North Carolina Central University on Saturday, January 30, 2010 beginning at 2 p.m. in Tiger Arena. 

The Lady Tigers will play North Carolina Central in the first game with men's game against Allen to follow. 

All SSU faculty and staff with valid employee ID are free prior to the first half of the women's game. After, regular ticket prices will go into effect. Prices for spouse and children will remain at regular rates. Adult ticket prices are $7 and children are $5. 

To show school pride and support the SSU basketball teams, the athletics department is encouraging all fans to wear blue and orange to the double-header. 

The Lady Tigers are 8-16 overall and 6-7 at home. Freshman guard Crissa Jackson leads the team with an average of 10.0 points per game while freshman forward Alisha Nelson leads with an average of 7.8 rebounds per game. 

The men's team is 8-13 overall and 6-3 at home. Senior guard Tracy Rankins is leads the team averaging 11.8 points and sophomore forward Rashad Hassan follows with 10.7 points.
