SAVANNAH, Ga.- Joseph Jackson and Michael Allegretti combined to toss a four-hitter as Savannah State downed Air Force at Grayson Stadium.

Jackson started, gave up two hits and pitched 4.1 innings while Allegretti, who was credited with the win, threw 4.2 innings. Allegretti gave up two hits, one run and struck out three.

SSU upped their record to 14-11 and won their seventh straight game.

The Tigers scored all of their runs in the fifth inning.

Jordan Monico led off with a double and advanced to third on an error. Dychal Bowles drew a walk and David Washington singled which brought home Monico. Darien Campbell reached on a fielder's choice bunt which allowed Tristan Smith, who was pinch running for Bowles, to score. An error by the pitcher gave way for Campbell to cross home plate for a 3-0 lead. Campbell later scored on an error.

Air Force (7-12), who left eight runners on base, scored their only run in the seventh inning.

Addison Gentry had two hits for the Falcons. Evan Abretch took the loss on the mound, pitching five inning and giving up two hits and four runs. Abretch struck out seven.
