Randall Moss has been a part of the Savannah State University football program since 2013, serving the Tigers in a variety of roles throughout his tenure.
Born in Cleveland, Ohio, and raised in Jacksonville, Florida, Moss arrived at Savannah State in 2013 after graduating from Jean Ribault Senior High School. He began his career with the Tigers as a student equipment manager and has since served in numerous capacities within Savannah State's football and men's basketball programs.
Moss transitioned into coaching in 2014, serving as an assistant offensive line coach. From 2015-17, he worked with the defensive backs before moving to linebackers in 2018 and outside linebackers in 2019.
From 2021-25, Moss worked extensively with Savannah State's linebackers, helping develop six All-SIAC selections, an HBCU All-America honorable mention selection and an HBCU Legacy Bowl participant.
In addition to his on-field coaching responsibilities, Moss served as assistant video coordinator from 2016-18 before being promoted to video coordinator in 2019.
Moss expanded his role within Savannah State Athletics in 2022, joining the men's basketball program as an assistant coach and video coordinator. His contributions helped the Tigers capture the 2025 SIAC Men's Basketball Tournament Championship and earn a berth in the NCAA Division II Men's Basketball Championship.
During his time with the men's basketball program, Moss has helped coach four All-SIAC selections, three SIAC All-Tournament Team selections, an SIAC Tournament Most Valuable Player and an HBCU Second Team All-American.
Moss has also distinguished himself academically at Savannah State, earning recognition on the Dean's List and Honor Roll while pursuing his degree in mass communications.
