Savanna Hockman was hired in July of 2020 as the director of football operations at Savannah State University.
Hockman started out as a coach for the A5 South Volleyball Club (2015-2016) at Oglethorpe University. She used her passion for sports to mentor younger females and execute and coordinate volleyball practices and games.
During the summer seasons of her college years she volunteered to assist with organizations and set up different camps that would enhance her skills and experience in Sports Management. She has volunteered at both McEachern High School (Summer 2017 and 2018) and Kennesaw State University (Summer 2017).
While still maneuvering through school, Hockman became a Student Assistant at Kennesaw State University. Following all these endeavors and graduating college, Hockman obtained an internship with Wake Forest University (2019) before making her transition to Savannah State.
