Corey McCloud returns as defensive line coach at Savannah State University. McCloud served as defensive line coach at SSU in 2007.
Prior to returning to SSU, McCloud served as defensive line coach and special teams coordinator at Livingstone College from 2008-09.
Before his first stint with SSU, McCloud was an assistant on the high school level, working at Westlake High School in Atlanta, GA (2005-07); Walker Senior High School in New Orleans, LA (2001-05); and Reed Senior High School in New Orleans (2000-01).
McCloud was a four year letterman, playing outside linebacker at Nicholls State from 1994-97. He was All Southland Conference in 1997 and was honorable mention in 1995 and 1996. He was also named to the All Louisiana Sports Writers Team in 1997 and 1998.
The New Orleans, La. native received a bachelor's degree in business management from the University New Orleans in 1999. He is single and resides in Savannah, Ga.
