Broderick Jones

Broderick Jones enters his first season as the graduate assistant offensive line coach at Savannah State.

Jones began his coaching career as offensive line coach at Rockdale high school in Atlanta, Georgia where he also worked with SSU’s head football coach Steve Davenport in the fall of 2006.

He attended Copiah-Lincoln Community College in Wesson, Mississippi from 2001-03, where he was a two-year offensive lineman and captain of offensive. Jones lettered for one year at the University of Mississippi and was on the SEC West Championship team in 2003.

Post-graduation, he played arena football with the Shreveport Battle Wings in Shreveport, Louisiana in 2005.

The Atlanta, Georgia native received a bachelor’s degree in political science from The University of Mississippi in 2005, and is currently earning a master’s in public administration from Savannah State University.

He is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity Incorporated.

Jones resides in Savannah, Georgia and is the son of Roger and Felicia Jones. He has two siblings Charrial Jones and Roger Jones Jr.
