ATLANTA, Ga.- The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference recognized 908 student-athletes for their academic excellence in the release of its 2024-25 SIAC Commissioner's All-Academic Team, All-Academic Team and individual team honors on Wednesday.

The SIAC Commissioner's All-Academic Team comprises a roster of student-athletes who excelled on their respective playing fields and in the classroom, earning a 3.4 or better cumulative grade point average for the academic year.

Student-athletes named to the SIAC All-Academic Team held the highest cumulative grade point averages within their respective sports.

Headlining the list from Savannah State University was Madison Starling-Martin, Roberto Robles and Mark Greene. The trio was named to the SIAC All-Academic Team.

Madison Starling-Martin was a senior on the softball team. The Gainesville, Florida native is a biology major and carries a 4.0 grade point average. Roberto Robles is a  sophomore on the baseball team. The Orlando, Florida native has a 4.0 GPA while majoring in computer science technology. Mark Greene is a native of Savannah, Georgia. A senior on the men's golf team, he is majoring in marketing and has a 3.89 GPA.

Starling-Martin, Robles and Greene were three of 42 SSU student-athletes to excel in the classroom this academic year that was recognized by the SIAC.
