HOOVER, Ala.- LaTaviona Parke was the lone bright spot for Savannah State in their 9-1 loss to Spring Hill in the SIAC Roundup that was played on March 13, 2024 at Hoover Metropolitan. Stadium.
 
Down 8-0 after three innings of play, Parke hit a solo home run for what turned out to be SSU's only run of the game.
 
The Badges added another run in the bottom of the fourth to close out the scoring on the day.
 
Savannah State had a runner in scoring position in the second inning when Ziahya Griffin reached base on an error by the right fielder and advanced to second on a wild pitch.
 
SSU also made three errors in the game.
 
Rosa Carnesale was tagged with the loss as the Lady Tigers fell to 8-13, 4-4 SIAC.
