Box Score JACKSONVILLE, Fla.- Tiana Curry had a triple double to help Savannah State to a 3-1 win over Edward Waters, in a match played October 15, 2024 at the Adams-Jenkins Complex.
 
Curry, who also had one block,  finished the match with 11 kills, 16 assists and 11 digs. It was her second triple double this season for the senior from Tallahassee, Florida.
 
Savannah State won the first set 25-22 before losing the second set by a score of 18-25. The Lady Tigers put EWU away with back-to-back wins in the third and fourth sets with scores of 25-19 and 25-23.
 
Jasmine Nettles had a double-double for SSU with 17 kills and 14 digs. She also had one assist and two aces.
 
Klode Ludy added 16 digs and one assist, Mina Ezikpe had two kills and three blocks and Saniaa Dickey had one ace and five digs.
 
Amiyah Walker contributed three kills, 30 assists, two blocks and eight digs, Savannah Everett had 16 kills, two blocks and one dig while Ayanna Klaiber-Norris finished the match with two blocks and three digs.
 
Savannah State (6-5, 5-3 SIAC) will have a four-match home stand starting with Allen on October 18. Other matches in the home stand include Benedict (Oct. 19), Albany State (Oct. 25) and Fort Valley State (Oct. 28).
