SAVANNAH, Ga. – Savannah State women's volleyball opens a four-game spring season tonight with their lone home match of the season.

Due to a mandate from the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC), the game will be closed event. Fans can find the exclusive live stream of the game, free of charge, at ssuathletics.com/watch.

The Lady Tigers return to the court for a quick spring season following the cancelation of their fall season. They open the schedule in Tiger Arena tonight against fellow SIAC member Benedict College.

They will travel to Albany, Georgia to play Albany State and Spring Hill on March 26 before concluding the season at Benedict in Columbia, S.C. on March 31.

During the off-season, first year Head Coach Roselidah Obunaga added several new faces to her team. Coupled with a number of seniors and one junior, the Lady Tigers are good mix of talent and experience this season.

Returning for Savannah State are seniors Liz Ortiz (OH/L), Imani Williamson (OH), De'Antoinette Rodriguez-Hairston (MH/OH), and Jedaiah Daniels (OH/MH). Junior Jeilynn Brown (OH) also returns this year.

Joining the veterens are freshman Taliyah Sumter (OH), Brenae Falana (RS/OH), Destiny Gaines (MH), Mariela Galeno (S), Destinee Langston (OH/RS), Sydney Harville (S), and Makayla Mondy (RS).
