SAVANNAH, Ga.—Savannah State women's basketball will look to keep their win streak alive today against Georgia College in a non-conference bout in Tiger Arena.
 
The Lady Tigers have scored at least 90 points in their two opening games this season, beating NAIA opponents Morris College 121-48 and College of Coastal Georgia 96-70. But today, they face a tough NCAA Division II, Peach Belt Conference, Georgia College team.
 
The Lady Bobcats are 2-2 in the young season and are coming off a 56-45 road win over #15 Valdosta State. Their two losses came against the University of Tennessee and Edward Waters.
 
Savannah State is led in scoring by its veterans. Le'Andrea Gillis is averaging 17.0 a game to lead the team and leads in rebounds with 13, a 6.5 average, while Amari Heard and Ta'Kyla Austin are each averaging 12.0 points a game.
