SAVANNAH, Ga. – IT'S HOMECOMING!

Savannah State football will host Clark Atlanta in a sold out Homecoming game today. Kickoff is set for 3:05 p.m.

All tickets and tailgating spots have been sold for this game. The game will be streamed live on ESPN+.

The Tigers and Clark Atlanta have met on the gridiron 45 times since 1956. The long standing Georgia rivalry hit its peak from 1956-1999 when the two teams faced each other every year except 1991. Savannah State leads the overall series 26-18-1—the one tie game was in 1965 when each team scored 12 points.

The annual game ended when Savannah State elevated to NCAA Division I and was restarted in 2019 when the Tigers moved back to NCAA Division II and the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC). In their last meeting, Savannah State beat Clark Atlanta 22-15 in Atlanta en-route to a 5-0 conference record in 2019.

For the first time in program history, nine of Savannah State's ten football games will be televised this year after the SIAC signed a streaming deal with ESPN and Savannah State signed their own streaming deal with FloSports.
