SAVANNAH, Ga. –Savannah State women's volleyball is set to compete against Clark Atlanta tonight in Wilcox-Wiley to kick-off homecoming athletics events this weekend.
 
Tonight's game is free and open to the general public and will be streamed live on FloSports.
 
The Lady Tigers and Clark Atlanta are battling for top tier status in the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) East Division standings. Clark Atlanta is currently in third place with a 7-4 conference record. They trail Benedict (6-3) and Albany State (7-3). Savannah State is in fourth place with 4-6 SIAC record.  
 
Clark Atlanta is on a three-game winning streak since their last loss on October 4 against Valdosta. The Lady Tigers are hoping to defend their 2-1 home court record tonight and pick up a key SIAC win.
 
This will be the first meeting of the two SIAC competitors this season, they haven't seen each other since 2019. Clark Atlanta won their last meeting.
 
Senior's Imani Williamson and Jedaiah Daniels lead their team in kills with 160 combined. Defensively, freshman Kloe Ludy has been on fire with 179 digs throughout the last 15 matches.
 
Tonight's match will be the first home game in a month for the Lady Tigers and starts a three-game homestand concluding on October 27.
