STATESBORO, Ga.- Savannah State continued their play in the Bash In The Boro with a game against Tennessee-Martin at Eagle Field.
 
The Skyhawks proved to be too much for Savannah State in a 11-0 victory.
 
UT-Martin led 1-0 after one inning of play but scored seven runs off four hits in the second inning for a 8-0 lead.
 
The Skyhawks added one more in the third and two in the fourth to round out the scoring.
 
Savannah State (0-3) ended the game with four errors.
 
Faith Dickerson was tagged with the loss, giving up 10 hits, 11 runs and six walks while striking out two. Only four of he Skyhawk runs were earned.
 
At the plate, SSU collected four hits with 
Stacie Smith, 
Jakayla Sullivan, 
Peyton Mitchell and 
Kelsey Cyrus all hitting  singles.
 
Lexi Ray was the winning pitcher. Ray struck out two while giving up five hits and one walk.
 
Madlyn Dycus had three hits for UT-Martin.
