Heniaya Moton scored a game-high 22 points and dished our four assists for Savannah State in the Lady Tigers 73-69 loss to North Carolina A&T in a game played at the Corbett Sports Center.

Moton made seven field goals, hit three 3-pointers and made five of six of her free throw attempts.
Mysaia Jones added 15 points for SSU and Alexxus Sowell grabbed a game-high 12 rebounds.
A&T raced out to a 10-4 lead but Savannah State rallied to tie the game at 11-11 with 2:48 left in the opening quarter. The Aggies closed the quarter with nine straight points for a 20-11 lead.
Savannah State (6-17, 4-10 MEAC) trailed by as many as 11 points in the second quarter but used a 11-4 run to close their gap to 32-28 with 36 seconds left after a pair of free throws by Jones.
A&T led 35-28 at the half. The Aggie reserves outscored the SSU bench players 23-3 in the first 20 minutes of action.
In the third quarter Savannah State found themselves down by seven with two minutes left. SSU used two free throws by Moton and a 3-pointer from Jones to whittle their deficit to 48-46Â but A&T scored the final six points of the quarter to expand their lead to 54-46.
The Lady Tigers started the final quarter with a 15-5 spurt to go ahead 61-59 at the 5:11 mark.
A&T responded with a 12-2 run to regain the lead at 71-63 with just under a minute remaining and went on to extend their winning streak to 14 games.
Savannah State shot 41.1 percent from the field, 40.9 percent from beyond the arc and 63.6 percent from the free throw line.
Le'on Hill had 10 points and 10 rebounds for A&T (17-10, 14-0 MEAC) .
The Aggies, who won the rebounding battle 52 to 40, shot 35.7 percent from the floor, made 28.6 percent of their 3-point attempts and shot 54.3 percent from the free throw line.
