SAVANNAH, Ga.- The Savannah State men's and women's basketball teams will end their four-game home-stand with rival Bethune-Cookman at Tiger Arena.
 
The women's game begins at 5:30 pm and the men's contest will start at 7:30 pm.
 
In their last outing, SSU was swept by Florida A&M on February 16.
 
The Lady Tigers lost 60-55 while the men fell 78-74.
 
In the women's game, Myasia Jones led Savannah State with 17 points, six assists, four assists and four steals while Jaquece Alston had 10 rebounds to go with her seven points.
 
Three of SSU's starters finished in double figures in the men's contest with Zach Sellers getting 16 points, Jaquan Dotson scoring 14 and Romani Hansen adding 12.
 
The Lady Tigers have a 6-14 overall record and 4-7 in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference while the men are 9-16 overall and 6-5 in conference play.
 
The Bethune-Cookman women have won three in a row and defeated South Carolina State 69-64 on Feb. 16 in Orangeburg, South Carolina.
 
Angel Golden leads the Wildcats (15-9, 8-4 MEAC) with 19.4 points a game.
 
The B-CU men completed the sweep of the Bulldogs with a 98-73 pounding of South Carolina State.
 
Cletrell Pope averages 13.4 points and 12.3 rebounds per game for the Wildcats (12-14, 7-5 MEAC).
