SAVANNAH, Ga.- Savannah State's football game with Howard that was postponed earlier in the season will not be made up.
 
The teams were originally scheduled to play September 15 in Washington, D.C. before the approach of Hurricane Florence which caused travel concerns for the teams and fans.
 
With the contest, which was a non-conference matchup, being canceled, Savannah State will conclude their 2018 season at South Carolina State on Nov. 17 at 1:30 p.m.
