Kaylee Allen has a career-day as the Savannah State University women's basketball team (2-15, 0-6 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) fell to Norfolk State University (11-5, 4-0 MEAC) 78-58 Monday in Tiger Arena to conclude a four-game homestand.
The Cincinnati, Ohio native recorded career highs with a team-high 24 points and six steals and added four assists and seven rebounds coming off the bench, while freshman guard
Heniaya Moton added 10 points, two assists, two steals and two rebounds.

Alexxus Sowell added nine points, six rebounds and five blocks while shooting 4-for-8 from the floor and junior guard
Praise Russell added five points and five rebounds.
Savannah State scored the first seven points of the game to take a 7-0 lead with 6:24 remaining in the first quarter, but the Spartans scored eight of the next nine points to tie the game at eight with 3:34 left. The Lady Tigers finished the quarter scoring the final seven points to take a seven-point lead, 15-8, after the first quarter.
The Lady Tigers scored 13 of the first 18 points of the second quarter to increase their lead to 15 points, 28-13, with 4:30 remaining in the quarter, but Norfolk State scored the next eight points to cut the lead to seven points, 28-21, with 3:06 left. Savannah State scored seven of the next eight points to increase its lead to 13 points, 35-22, with 1:37 remaining. The Spartans scored seven of the final nine points to cut the halftime deficit to eight points, 37-29.
In the first half, Allen went 7-for-8 from the floor, including 2-for-3 from the 3-point line, for 19 points, four rebounds, three assists and four rebounds in 19 minutes.
The Spartans scored eight of the first 13 points in the third quarter to cut the lead to five points, 42-37, with 4:47 remaining in the quarter, but Savannah State quickly scored the next five points to increase its lead to five points, 47-37, with 4:04 left. Norfolk State scored 12 of the final 17 points to cut the lead to three points, 52-49, after the third quarter.
Norfolk State scored 11 of the first 14 points in the fourth quarter to take a five-point lead, 60-55, with 6:16 remaining in the quarter, but an Allen layup cut the lead to three points, 60-57, with 5:37 left. The Spartans scored 18 of the final 19 points for the 20 point win.
The Spartans were led by Alexys Long with 29 points, Gabrielle Swinson with 15 points, six assists, Yazmen Hannah with 13 points and Raven Russell with a double-double of 10 points and 11 rebounds.
The Lady Tigers hit the road with a trip to Dover, Del., to face Delaware State University Saturday at 2 p.m.
