SAVANNAH, Ga.- Junior defensive lineman Stefen Banks was one of the top players on November 4 when Savannah State defeated Delaware State 35-21 in TA Wright Stadium for their second win in a row.
The Columbus, Ohio native caused havoc on the Hornets, getting seven tackles, four tackles for losses, four sacks, one fumble recovery, one interception, one pass breakup and two quarterback hurries.
For his efforts, Banks was awarded the HERO Sports FCS Football Defensive/Special Teams HERO of the Week award. Voted by a fan poll, Banks received 56.39 percent of the votes cast.
