Savannah, Ga. -- The Tigers return home to take on Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) opponent North Carolina A&T State University in their conference home opener on January 9, 2016 at 6 p.m. in Tiger Arena.  The Tigers have not played at home since falling to Eastern Kentucky, 74-71, on December 5, 2015.
Game Notes: · SSU and N.C. A&T will meet for the eighth time. N.C. A&T won the only meeting last season.
· The Tigers enter the game with a 4-1 record when playing in Tiger Arena this season. SSU's only home loss this was against Eastern Kentucky  on Dec. 5, 2015.
· Since entering the MEAC in 2011-12, the Tigers have started MEAC play 0-1 twice prior to falling to FAMU on the road  last Tuesday night. SSU has started conference play 0-2 only once in the Broadnax era. Last season, the Tigers loss their first two conference games. 
· Transfers 
Troyce Manassa, Chris Martin and 
Lenjo Kilo are the Tigers' leading scorers so far this season. Manassa leads the team averaging 12.8 ppg, Martin is second averaging 11.8 ppg and Kilo rounds out the top three scorers averaging 7.6 ppg. Martin and Kilo are graduate students, while Manassa transferred in as a Junior.
