Game Notes: · SSU and Norfolk State will meet for the 11th time in the series with NSU leading, 7-3. The Tigers have yet to beat NSU since entering the MEAC in 2011-12.
· SSU's
Lenjo Kilo leads the Tigers with four double-doubles so far this season. Kilo, a graduate transfer student, has had back-to-back double-doubles in the Tigers' last two games.
· The Tigers are still looking for their first road win of the season. SSU is 0-8 in traveling games this season.
· This is the second of four road games for SSU. Over the next two weeks, the Tigers will face Hampton, Norfolk, N.C. A&T and Bethune-Cookman before returning home on Feb. 6.
· SSU is currently 3-3 in conference play and remain tied with Bethune-Cookman for the 5th place spot in the MEAC standings. Both SSU and Bethune-Cookman lost in their Saturday games. Hampton leads the conference with a 7-0 record.
