Game Notes:
· SSU and Hampton will meet for the 11th time in the series with Hampton leading 7-3. SSU won the last meeting defeating the Pirates, 68-66, on January 24, 2015 in Savannah, Ga.

· Today's game may the toughest for the Tigers in conference so far this season. Hampton is undefeated in MEAC play with a 6-0 conference record, and the Tigers are looking for their first road win of the season (0-7).

·  SSU is looking to improve on its two-game streak with a win today. The Tigers longest winning stretch this season was when the Tigers won their first three games.

· This is the first of four road games for SSU. Over the next two weeks, the Tigers will face Hampton, Norfolk, N.C. A&T and Bethune-Cookman before returning home on Feb. 6.

· SSU is currently 3-2 in conference play and remain tied with Bethune-Cookman for the 5th place spot in the MEAC standings.
