Game Notes: · SSU and Maryland Eastern Shore will meet for the 8th time in the series. UMES defeated SSU, 87-57, in the teams lone meeting last season.
· This is the third of a four-game home stand for the Tigers. SSU split its first two game winning 75-68 over N.C. A&T then falling 46-69 to N.C. A&T. SSU will take on UMES and Delaware State befor hitting  the road to play Norfolk and Hampton.
· SSU will try to reach the .500 conference mark for the second time this season with a win over UMES. The Tigers are currently 1-2 and sit at the 8th spot in the MEAC standings.
· Transfers 
Troyce Manassa, Chris Martin and 
Lenjo Kilo are the Tigers' leading scorers so far this season. Manassa leads the team averaging 12.9 ppg, Martin is second averaging 11.8 ppg and Kilo rounds out the top three scorers averaging 8.1 ppg. Martin and Kilo are graduate students, while Manassa transferred in as a Junior.
