Junior setter
Caitlynn Masoe leads the team with 43 kills, 1.34 kills per set, with 103 assists, 3.22 assists per set and with eight service aces, 0.25 service aces per set and has 48 digs, 1.50 digs per set.
Junior libero
Alexis Washington leads the team with 97 digs, 2.94 digs per set, while freshman outside hitter
Makayla Tam leads the team with 1.41 kills per set, 38 kills, and has added seven service aces, 0.26 service aces per set and 26 digs.
Over the weekend, the Lady Tigers (0-11) went 0-3 at the Valparaiso Popcorn Classic with losses to Loyola 3-0 (25-7, 25-12, 25-21), host Valparaiso 3-0 (25-13, 25-17, 25-11) and Elon 3-0 (25-15, 25-20, 25-13).
Junior middle blocker
Gabrielle Nathaniel was named to the All-Tournament Team posting 11 kills, 1.22 kills per set, three assists, three service aces, 0.33 service aces per set, 20 digs, 2.22 digs per set, and four total blocks, 0.44 blocks per set during the tournament.
Masoe led the team with 12 kills, 1.33 kills per set, and with 35 assists, 3.89 assists per set, and added 11 digs and two total blocks, while Washington led the team with 30 digs, 3.33 digs per set, during the tournament.
The Eagles (4-6) hosted a tournament last weekend and posted a 1-2 record. GSU defeated Chicago State (3-1), but fell to Tennessee State (3-1) and Winthrop (3-1). The Eagles are led by Stephanie Spencer with 107 kills, 2.97 kills per set, Kat Minnerly with 218 assists, 6.06 assists per set, and Alex Beecher with 201 digs, 5.29 digs per set.
Savannah State finishes its 11-match roadstand at the Wildcat Classic in Tucson, Ariz., this weekend. The Lady Tigers face a doubleheader on Friday starting with No. 2 Texas at 3 p.m., followed by New Mexico State at 8 p.m. and faces host No. 16 Arizona at 3 p.m. on Saturday.
