SAVANNAH, Ga. – Savannah State University volleyball team travels to Charleston Southern for a midweek match on Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the Buc Dome.

Junior setter Caitlynn Masoe leads the Lady Tigers (0-4) with 17 kills, 1.42 kills per set, and with 39 assists, 3.25 assists per game, and added 21 digs, 1.75 digs per set.
 
Freshman outside hitter Makayla Tam leads the team with 1.45 kills per set and has 16 kills on the season.  She also leads the team with three service aces, 0.27 service aces per set, and has added 10 digs.  Junior libero Alexis Washington leads the team with 34 digs and with 2.83 digs per set. 
 
This past weekend, the Lady Tigers went 0-3 at the Kennesaw State Invitational, losing to Jacksonville State 3-0 (25-14, 25-15, 25-8), host Kennesaw State 3-0 (25-10, 25-13, 25-10), and Alabama State 3-0 (25-18, 25-17, 25-16).
 
Washington was named to the All-Tournament team as she collected 23 digs for an average of 2.56 digs per set during the Invitational. SSU also fell to East Carolina 3-0 (25-10, 25-14, 25-7) on Sunday. 
 
Charleston Southern (0-3) lost all three matches at the Big Orange Bash in Clemson, S.C.  The Bucs are led by Siraya Windsor with 3.10 kills per set, Cassidy Greer with 4.60 assists per set and Ashley Higginbothem with 5.50 digs per set. 
 
The Lady Tigers return to the court with the Blazer Classic on Friday and Saturday.  SSU faces Austin Peay on Friday at 5 p.m. followed by a doubleheader on Saturday against host UAB at 10 a.m. and Florida International at 3 p.m.
