SAVANNAH, Ga. – Savannah State University volleyball team (0-30, 0-9 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) finishes the season hosting South Carolina State University (3-18, 3-6 MEAC) on Sunday at 1 p.m. in Willcox-Wiley Gym for Senior Day.
 
The Lady Tigers will honor the only senior on the team of Christian Lyle.  Since the 2005 season, Lyle has recorded the third most kills with 379 and is six kills away to move into second place, and her 104 career total blocks ranks second since 2005 in school history.  The Savannah, Ga., native has posted the second most points since 2005 with 462.5 and has played the third most matches and sets.
 
This season, Lyle has recorded 103 kills, 1.34 kills per set, 18 digs and 29 total blocks, 0.38 blocks per set, overall.  In MEAC play, the middle blocker has recorded the second-most kills on the team with 45, 1.88 kills per set, with a .213 hitting percentage and has added nine digs and eight total blocks, 0.33 blocks per set. 

Junior middle blocker Gabrielle Nathaniel leads the team with 137 kills, 1.54 kills per set, and with 34 total blocks, 0.38 blocks per set.  The Ontario, Canada native is second on the team with 154 digs, 1.73 digs per set, and third in service aces with 16, 0.18 service ace per set.
 
Junior setter Caitlynn Masoe leads the team with 402 assists, 4.52 assist per set, and with 20 service aces, 0.22 service ace per set, and is third on the team with 108 kills, 1.21 kills per set, with 152 digs, 1.71 digs per set, and with 26 total blocks, 0.29 blocks per set, while junior libero Alexis Washington leads the team with 290 digs, 3.19 digs per set, and is fourth on the team in service aces with 15, 0.16 service ace per set. 
 
Freshman outside hitter Makayla Tam is second on the team with 126 kills, 1.48 kills per set, and leads the team with 20 service aces, 0.24 service ace per set, and has added 91 digs and 14 total blocks, while freshman outside hitter Chinenye Ofodile has added 107 kills, 40 digs and 22 total blocks, 0.27 blocks per set.    
 
In conference play, Nathaniel leads the team with 50 kills, 1.85 kills per set, and has added 57 digs, 2.11 digs per set, and 10 total blocks, 0.37 blocks per set, while freshman outside hitter Chinenye Ofodile has added 43 kills, 1.65 kills per set and Washington leads the team with 87 digs, 3.22 digs per set.  Masoe leads the team with 163 assists, 6.04 assist per set, and has added 52 digs, 1.93 digs per set and 11 total blocks, 0.41 blocks per set.
