The Game
The Savannah State men's basketball team will play the second game of their three-game home stand when they host Campbell at Tiger Arena on November 16 at 7 p.m.
 
It will be the second game between the two programs. SSU won their only previous meeting, 69-63 which was played in 2013.
 
The Tigers are coming off of a season opening 87-69 win over Florida National on Nov. 13.
 
SSU broke open a close game with a 23-3 run in the second half.
 
Guard Chris Martin scored 16 points for the Tigers while forward Brian Pearson added 11 points and a career-high 20 rebounds and four blocks.
 
Other players in double figures were Kamil Williams (13 points), Troyce Manessa (11 points), Khalen Pinkett (11 points and four steals) and Casey Wells (10 points).
 
Campbell, who competes in the Big South Conference, enters the game fresh off of a season opening 82-47 victory over Montreat.
 
Kyre' Hamer (6-2, 200) had 21 points for the Camels. Freshman Chris Clemons (5-9, 165) came off the bench to hit 5 of 6 of his 3-point attempts on his way to score 19 and pull down 7 rebounds while Curtis Phillips (6-5, 185) added 14 points and DJ Mason (6-6, 220) added 10 rebounds and 5 assists.
