SAVANNAH, Ga.- Savannah State placed five players in double figures in a 90-82 exhibition win over Limestone.

The crowd of 1,650 in Tiger Arena saw SSU shoot 50 percent from the field and make 46.9 percent of their 3-point shots.
The game was close from start to finish and the Tigers used a late run to pull away.

Clinging to a three point lead with 9:06 remaining, Savannah State used a 12-5 run to increase their advantage to 77-67 with 5:14 left.
Limestone got back within 84-81 with 53 seconds remaining but the Tigers finished the game with a 6-1 spurt.

Chris Martin led the Tigers with a game-high 26 points and six assists.Â
Lenjo Kilo had a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds.
Isaiah Felder came off the bench to chip in 15 points,
Casey Wells scored 11 points while
Khalen Pinkett added 10.
The Saints held a 16-10 lead after seven minutes of play in the first half but SSU rallied to go ahead by three.

Limestone answered with a 11-0 run to grab their largest lead of the contest at 35-27 with 4:34 left in the first period.

Savannah State rallied to knot the score at 37 and took a 40-39 lead into intermission.

The Tigers led most of the second half thanks to their hot shooting. SSU shot 62 percent from the floor while hitting 8 of 13 of their 3point attempts.

Kenny Hairston led Limestone players in double figures with 19 points and six assists.

Savannah State edged the Saints in rebounds, 36 to 35.
