Gabrielle Nathaniel and junior setter
Caitlynn Masoe leads the team with 79 kills, 1.30 kills per set, while Masoe also leads the team with 226 assists, 3.70 assist per set. Masoe has also added 13 service aces, 0.21 service ace per set, 94 digs, 1.54 digs per set, and 17 total blocks, 0.28 blocks per set, while Nathaniel has added 10 service aces, 0.16 service ace per set, 85 digs, 1.39 digs per set, and 21 total blocks, 0.34 blocks per set.
Junior libero
Alexis Washington leads the team with 202 digs, 3.21 digs per set, and has recorded 11 service aces, 0.17, service ace per set, while freshman outside hitter
Makayla Tam leads the team with 15 service aces, 0.26 service aces per set, and with 1.37 kills per set, 78 kills, and has added 60 digs and 10 blocks.
Senior
Christian Lyle leads the team with 22 total blocks, 0.38 blocks per set and has added 75 kills, 1.29 kills per set.
The Lady Tigers (0-21, 0-4 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) went 0-2 over the weekend in North Carolina with losses with losses to North Carolina A&T 3-0 (25-18, 25-17, 25-20) on Friday and North Carolina Central 3-0 (25-21, 25-21, 27-25) on Sunday.
Washington led the team with 30 digs, 5.00 digs per set, and with six service aces, 1.00 service ace per set, during the weekend, while Nathaniel led the team with 13 kills, 2.17 kills per set, and added 10 digs, 1.67 digs per set, and five total blocks, 0.83 blocks per set. Masoe led the team with 39 assists, 6.50 assists per set, and added four kills, 10 digs, 1.67 digs per set, and three total blocks, 0.50 blocks per set.
North Florida (14-4, 2-1 A-Sun) entered last weekend on a nine-match winning streak, including defeating two MEAC schools of Bethune-Cookman 3-1 and Florida A&M 3-0. A win at USC Upstate 3-2 on Friday extended its winning streak, but a loss to at Kennesaw State 3-1 on Saturday ended the winning streak at 10 matches. The Ospreys are led by Tessa Alyman with 215 kills, 3.41 kills per set, Abby Fesl with 540 assists, 8.06 assist per set, and Kimberly Ferguson with 292 digs, 4.23 digs per set.
The Lady Tigers return on the road traveling to Orangeburg, S.C., to face South Carolina State on Friday at 7 p.m., before returning home to face Mercer on Wednesday, Oct. 14 at 6 p.m. in Willcox-Wiley Gym.
