Makayla Tam leads the team with 109 kills each. Nathaniel averages 1.42 kills per set and also leads the team in total blocks with 30, 0.39 blocks per set, and is third on the team with 122 digs, 1.58 digs per set, and fourth in service aces with 13, 0.17 service ace per set.
Tam leads the team with 1.49 kills per set and with 19 service aces, 0.26 service ace per set, and has added 17 assists, 77 digs and 13 total blocks, while junior libero
Alexis Washington leads the team with 251 digs, 3.18 digs per set, and is third with 15 service aces, 0.19 service ace per set.
Masoe leads the team with 319 assists, 4.14 assists per set, and is third on the team with 96 kills, 1.25 kills per set, and with 23 total blocks, 0.30 blocks per set, and second on the team with 16 services aces, 0.21 service ace per set, and with 123 digs, 1.60 digs per set.
During the two matches this weekend against The Citadel and Alabama State, Tam leads the team with 18 kills, 2.57 kills per set, and has added five assists, a service ace and seven digs, while Washington leads the team with 26 digs, 3.71 digs per set, and freshman outside hitter
Chinenye Ofodile had added 17 kills, 2.43 kills per set with a service ace and two total blocks. Nathaniel has recorded 11 kills, 1.57 kills per set, 19 digs, 2.71 digs per set, a service ace and two total blocks, while Maose has recorded 48 assists, 6.86 assists per set, seven kills, two service ace and 14 digs.
The last time out, the Lady Tigers (0-26) fell to Alabama State on Wednesday 3-0 (25-11, 25-14, 25-21). Nathaniel and Tam led the team with five kills each, while Maose added 18 assists, four kills and two service aces. Nathaniel added eight digs and a service ace, while Ofodile added four kills and Washington added 12 digs.
Bethune-Cookman (8-15, 5-0 MEAC) went 0-3 last week with all three losses on the road. The Wildcats fell to Florida Gulf Coast (3-0) on Tuesday, Howard (3-2) on Thursday and American (3-0) on Friday. B-CU are led by Delicia Pierre with 262 kills, 3.36 kills per set, Hazel Ortiz-Rosado with 686 assists, 8.79 assists per set, and Normarie Rolon with 277 digs, 3.55 digs per set.
B-CU and the Lady Tigers have already squared off on the court this season as the Wildcats took home a 3-0 (25-14, 25-14, 25-13) win on Sept. 25 in Willcox-Wiley Gymnasium. Freshman outside hitter
Ayree Gallon led SSU with five kills, while Masoe led the team with 15 assists and added four kills and Washington added 10 digs. The Wildcats were led by Rhea Simon with 11 kills, Ortiz-Rosado with 17 assists and Pierre with 11 digs.
Florida A&M (4-17, 4-1 MEAC) is 0-2 this week with losses to Florida Gulf Coast (3-0) and Stetson (3-0). The Rattlers are led by Ramela Soriano with 163 kills, 2.91 kills per set, Valeria Lopez with 310 assists, 6.46 assists per set, and Valentina Carrasco with 239 digs, 3.57 digs per set.
FAMU swept the Lady Tigers 3-0 (25-21, 25-12, 25-15) on Sept. 27 in Willcox-Wiley Gym. Senior middle blocker
Christian Lyle led the team with eight kills, while Masoe led the team with 12 assists and with five blocks, and Nathaniel led the team with six digs and with two aces. The Rattlers were led by Ginna Lopez with 10 kills, Valeria Lopez with 23 assists, and Valentina Carrasco with seven digs.
The Lady Tigers return home for the final three matches of the regular season with North Carolina A&T State on Friday, Oct. 30 at 6 p.m. and North Carolina Central on Sunday, Nov. 1 at 1 p.m. with both matches at Willcox-Wiley Gym.
