Tiger Bites
· SSU will meet Maryland Eastern Shore for the seventh time with SSU having won five-of-six meetings. SSU is 4-0 against the Hawks since entering the conference.

· SSU is still vying for its first road win of the season. The Tigers are 0-12 overall and 0-3 MEAC when playing on the road so far this season.

· SSU's winless conference start is the first time the Tigers have started 0-2 in conference play since entering the MEAC in 2011-12.

· The Tigers are currently ranked 301st in the Division I ESPN RPI rankings out of 351 schools. SSU is 7th amongst MEAC institutions with N.C. Central leading at the 107th spot. 

· Defense is the pride of any Horace Broadnax coached team. The Tigers are ranked 1st in the MEAC and 9th nationally in steals averaging 9.4 per game. SSU is also first in the conference and 15th nationally in total steals with 151.
