THE GAMES:
Savannah State opens a five game road stretch with Sunday's games against Wofford College and Gardner-Webb University.
 
The Lady Tigers fell to Alabama A&M on Thursday 1-3, and breezed past Tougaloo College 3-0 on Friday night in their final two home games before hitting the road.

SSU is 3-8 on the season. Junior Justice Dilworth leads the team in kills (75) and in digs (78). She recorded her first career double-double against Alabama A&M with 11 kills and 11 digs.

Gabrielle Nathaniel follows Dilworth with 59 kills, while freshman Zariya Thomas has registered 55 this season. The Lady Tigers have a positive hitting percentage (.051) as a team, and are averaging 8.0 kills per set as a team.

On defense, sophomore setter Caitlynn Masoe returned to the hardwood after missing the opening five games, and is second in assists with 99. Freshman Lynae Bryant leads with 124. Nathaniel also leads in blocks with 16 total, followed by Christian Lyle who has 10 on the season.

Lady Tigers volleyball have faced off with Wofford and Gardner-Webb several times since turning Division I in 2002, but have yet to record wins against either opponent.
