THE GAMES:
The Lady Tigers had a disappointing start to this year's road schedule, falling in all three games of the Southern Utah Tournament.

SSU will look to rebound in the ISTAP Collegiate Cup 2, hosted by Alabama State in Montgomery, Alabama this week.

The Lady Tigers will open against The Citadel and Alabama State on September 11, and then close out the tournament on the 12^th against Southeast Missouri State and Towson University.

SSU is 2-3 on the new season, and returning Justice Dilworth leads the way. The junior out of Kingsland, Ga. has 32 kills on the year, averaging 2.29 per set, and leads in digs with 25.

Close behind is junior Christian Lyle with 20 kills. Freshman hitter Zariya Thomas has been a pivotal part of the Lady Tigers thus far with 19 kills, averaging 1.46 per set.

The Lady Tigers have been without starting setter Caitlynn Masoe, who was absent due to a fractured finger. Masoe is scheduled to return for the ISTAP Cup. True freshman Lynae Bryant has been filling in for Masoe. Bryant is second on the team in digs with 24, and leads in assists with 84.

This will be the first time in the Division I era (2002-03), Savannah State has played Southeast Missouri State and Towson.
