Quick Notes:                        
· SSU snapped a two-game losing streak with its win over Bethune-Cookman  on Saturday. SSU is looking for back-to-back wins for the first time since going on a five-game streak in January.

· The Tigers are looking for their second consecutive win in Tallahassee, Fla. Last season, SSU defeated FAMU, 67-65, on February 14.

· Florida A&M comes into today's game  10th in the conference with a 3-5 record. The Rattlers don't seem to get rattled at home as they are 5-2 when playing in the Al Lawson Center. FAMU is led by Jamie Adams who is averaging 16.8 ppg and 2.2 rpg.

· SSU's Jyles Smith was named the MEAC Player of the Week (1/12) and MEAC Defensive Player of the Week (11/18); Jeremiah Hill received Newcomer of the Week honors for the week ending 1/12.

· In his 9th season, head coach Horace Broadnax is SSU's second longest tenured basketball coach.  He is SSU's second highest winningest coach with 113 wins.
