Quick Notes:                        
· Since winning their first 5 conference games in January, the Tigers have dropped its last two games. SSU has
also fell from 1st in the MEAC to tied for the third place spot with Hampton. N.C. Central is first with Norfolk St. second.

· Last time the Tigers played in Daytona Beach, SSU lost 58-72 on February 25, 2013.

· After starting 0-6 in conference play, Bethune-Cookman has won it's last two conference games and come into today's game with a 2-6 MEAC record. The Wildcats are led by Mikel Trapp who is averaging 10.8 points and 2.9 rebounds per game.

· SSU's Jyles Smith was named the MEAC Player of the Week (1/12) and MEAC Defensive Player of the Week (11/18); Jeremiah Hill received Newcomer of the Week honors for the week ending 1/12.

· In his 9th season, head coach Horace Broadnax is SSU's second longest tenured basketball coach.  He is tied for second in wins with 112.
