THE GAMES:
Savannah State squares off with two Southern Conference teams in the final two home games of the 2014 season.
 
The Lady Tigers are looking to snap a seven game losing streak that opened with a loss to The Citadel earlier this month. On Tuesday, SSU will host The Citadel for the third and final match between the programs this year.
 
In the first meeting of the teams on Sept. 11, SSU fell 1-3 at the 2014 ISTAP Collegiate Cup in Montgomery, Alabama. SSU fell in straight sets, 0-3, while visiting The Citadel in Charleston on Oct. 7.
 
On Wednesday, SSU will play the final home game of the season against Mercer University. This will be the second and final meeting of the teams this year. SSU fell to Mercer, 0-3, on Oct. 15 in Macon.
 
Wednesday's game will also be Senior Day for the Lady Tigers. Senior Chantia Taylor and graduate student Olivia Wasdin will be honored for their contributions to the program in pregame ceremonies.
 
The Lady Tigers are 4-22 this season. After this week's final two home games, they close out the regular season with four straight road games. They open the final stretch against Brewton-Parker on Oct. 30 for the final nonconference game.
 
In the final three games, all MEAC matches, SSU visits South Carolina State, North Carolina A&T State and North Carolina Central.
