THE GAME:
This week the Lady Tigers enter a two-game nonconference in-state road swing that is sandwiched between two Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) home stands.

They open with a mid-week game against Mercer University in Macon this Tuesday, and close out against Georgia Southern on Oct. 21 in Statesboro. They return home to face Bethune-Cookman in MEAC action on Oct. 24.

SSU fell in two MEAC games this past weekend to North Carolina Central and North Carolina A&T State. They are 4-18 overall and 0-5 in MEAC play.

The Lady Tigers are looking to break a three-game losing streak in Macon. They are led in the statistics by junior Justice Dilworth (125 kills, 114 digs), and freshman Zariya Thomas (105 kills, 53 digs). Alexis Washington leads the team in digs (157), and freshman Autumn Session leads in blocks (23).

The Mercer Lady Bears are 4-13 on the season. They enter the contest in hopes of breaking a four-game losing streak. They are led by Molly Locke (219 kills, 172 digs), and Caroline Carlton (138 kills, 24 blocks).
