Quick Notes:
· Tigers are looking to improve on its 5-game win streak. SSU is 5-2 at home this season and 3-0 in home conference games.

· SSU has lost the last two meetings to Hampton. The Tigers last victory over the Pirates was a 65-49 win on Dec. 1, 2011.

· SSU is currently 1st place in the MEAC with a 5-0 conference record. The Tigers are one of two undefeated teams in the conference. The other is Morgan State who holds a 4-0 record.

· Hampton is looking to snap a 2-game losing skid. The Pirates are led by Du'Vaughn Maxwell who is averaging 14.6 points and 6.7 rebounds per game.

· SSU's Jyles Smith was named the MEAC Player of the Week (1/12) and MEAC Defensive Player of the Week (11/18); Jeremiah Hill received Newcomer of the Week honors for the week ending 1/12.
