Game Central Volleyball: Stetson University Tournament

DELAND, Fla. - The Savannah State volleyball program travels to neighboring Florida for the 2013 Stetson University Volleyball Tournament this weekend. The Lady Tigers are still looking for the season's first win after falling to Fordham, Tennessee Tech and Winthrop last weekend in Rock Hill, South Carolina, in the season's opening games.

The Lady Tigers will get a glimpse of Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) play as they face off with perennial MEAC power Bethune-Cookman in a nonconference matchup Friday evening. They will book end the tournament against host Stetson, and are scheduled to play Providence College.

This is the 28^th season of volleyball at Savannah State. Interim head coach Jolanta Graham enters her first full year at the helm. Graham took over midway through the 2012 season. The Lady Tigers are a 10 person squad this year with six returners and four newcomers.
