Savannah, Ga.—Savannah State University's volleyball team will host its annual Dig Pink Game in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness on October 25 at 6 PM in Willcox Wiley Gym.
The Lady Tigers will play the Lady Hatters of Stetson University for this event.
SSU will collaborate with the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Coastal Georgia Affiliate; together they will host a fundraiser and distribute material on early detection, treatment, and programs.
The Lady Tigers will also honor Ms. Almisha Mattox who is a SSU Alumnus, and breast cancer survivor. Ms. Mattox will deliver the coin toss and the Volleyball team will present her with an acknowledgment gift before the first serve.
