Miami, Fla.—Savannah State University Lady Tigers volleyball end a 13 game losing streak by sweeping the Lady Lions of Florida Memorial 3-0 (25-9, 25-23, 25-17) on October 22 in the A. Chester Robinson recreation center.
Defensively, the Lady Tigers dominated the game, registering a total of six team blocks, while libero
Kaneisha Hamilton led the game in digs with 10.
Veteran players
Jennifer Lowe,
Ashlee Butler, and
Keandra Lewis each registered a game high of three service aces for SSU. Lowe also led the team in kills with six, while Butler recorded a game high of 15 assists.
FMU's Janice Valies earned the game high of nine kills.
